The challenge

Bringoz sought WideOps’ expertise to tackle the intricate migration of
their Java-based applications and data systems from App Engine to
more scalable cloud solutions within GCP.

The solution

WideOps executed a complex migration from Queues to Cloud Tasks and from Datastore to MongoDB Atlas via the Google Cloud Marketplace using Apache Beam for streaming and transformation. A bespoke code layer was developed to translate between Datastore and MongoDB, overcoming significant challenges.

The results

The migration was a success, leading to a modernized infrastructure
on GCP that allows Bringoz to scale effectively and meet market
